Gary is a retired metallurgical engineer who resides in Ancaster, Ontario. He has always had a keen interest in drawing and painting and started taking watercolour courses in 1981. He has studied with many prominent artists over the past 28 years and has been on several painting trips to France, Italy, and the United States. He has sold numerous paintings and reproductions and has had work accepted and recognized in several juried exhibitions as well as being published in the International Artist magazine.
Gary is a member of the Central Ontario Art Association, the Kitchener-Waterloo Society of Artists, the Humber Valley Art Club, and Six Degrees of Freedom. Gary is currently a docent and the secretary of the Volunteer Committee at the Art Gallery of Hamilton.
